Currently forecast to approach -9 feet at Memphis (which is where the data below is from).
iluvsnow
This has gotten almost as nerve racking as watching the model runs for snow storms in the winter. Will the remnants of Francine bring much, much needed rain to the eastern Ohio Valley like the CMC says....or be stopped in her tracks by the strengthening upper ridge over the northeast, like the GFS and Euro says. My water bill in Dayton needs the Canadian to score the coup!
A-L-E-K
incredible weather but still so boring
iluvsnow
And it looks like the CMC caves for the tropical remnants to soak the eastern Ohio Valley. Drought begets drought!

Sun is being blocked so much, that it's an orange ball slowly setting this evening. Not often you can look at it with the naked eye. Pretty cool. cyclone77
Zero rain and temps near 90 for the next 10 days. Fire danger doing to become an issue with so much dry vegetation and unharvested dry crop fields covering the land. What an awful pattern. 3

OrdIowPitMsp
The Good: Deep blue smoke free skies. The Bad: 90 degrees in Minneapolis today. The Ugly: 0.03” rain so far in September. It’s crispy out there.
sbnwx85
Honestly, if the weather is going to be boring and dry I'd rather have it during a month like September when it's normally boring.
sbnwx85
Should be able to get to 25 straight days without any rain. Historic times we live in.
Chicago Storm
With the help of the increasing drought, we've eeked out a few 90° days recently. Topped out at 90° at ORD on Sunday. Peaked at 90° at both ORD and at MDW on Monday. ...2024 90°+ Day Tally... 22 - MDW 21 - ORD 18 - LOT 17 - PWK 17 - ARR 16 - RFD 15 - DPA 10 - UGN
cyclone77
Hit 90 today at MLI, which is the 3rd one for Sep, and 3 out of the last 4 days have hit 90. The 3rd 90 degree day brings them to a tie for July, when only 3 90+ days occurred. Looks like tomorrow and Thu will reach 90, so will end up surpassing July's count.
