The "best" snow rates will be from 3am through 11am. First snow chance of the season happens early hours wow big surprise :facepalm:

Tonight
A chance of rain and snow before midnight, then a chance of rain between midnight and 4am, then a chance of snow after 4am. Cloudy, with a low around 33. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Friday
Snow likely before 11am, then rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 40. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Eat dinner at 6pm. Have a couple nightcaps from 7 to 9pm and maybe a sleeping pill or melatonin. Set alarm for/ between 3-4am Wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed to see some flakes...easy as that.

I do think at the very least we'll see a mix w/snow and a complete sloppy wet snow turnover at some point seems pretty likely as well.

I get up at 1:30am daily to start my shift at 3am. I guess I'll get to see prime time without taking any special measures.

The NAM really pinpoints the elevation snowfall forecast in S. Mtn ridges in western Lehigh County and eastern Berks. Spot on again from three days ago. White rain city coming.

Friday Night
A chance of rain and snow, mainly before 10pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 31. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
