Currently light to moderate rain lightning and rumbles of thunder overhead.  Temp 53f humidity has risen from 72% to 86% in basically 15 minutes.  Dewpoint 47f pressure 29.37 falling can that be right???

No wind yet.

Wind is just starting here, it's the real deal, lol. Just had a loud clap of thunder.

Miracle of miracles.  Rain.

Had 0.54" before midnight, which was my highest daily total, literally since August 8 (when there was > 1/2").  After midnight resulted in another 0.61".

After a pause, had been getting a round 2 for with another 0.04", for a daily total of 0.65" (so far) and a 2-day total of 1.19" at post time!

Currently a misty 44, with the last of this round moving out, and dp 44.

Currently 43f total rain for last night exactly 1.00" it is a start.

Looks like as expected the models overnight back off on all of our snow chances in the runs see if it comes back later, but kind of reminiscent of last year, shows the snow then models say what are you talking about.

Yeah, I don't see that Thanksgiving snowstorm coming to fruition. However, I think we are primed for a widespread snow event during the first week of December.

Chilly and breezy today with some occasional rain showers especially across Northern Chester and Berks Counties....some snow may begin to mix in with the rain across the highest elevations later this evening. Some additional snow and rain showers will continue for much of the day tomorrow. Any minor slushy accumulations will be on non-paved surfaces as temperatures with the exception of the highest ridges will remain a little above freezing for the duration. We start to dry out and turn a bit milder with temperatures back to near or slightly above normal before a sharp turn to colder by Wednesday. Turkey Day itself looks to be colder than normal with high temperatures in the low 40's.

2-3 inches are  my intial  thoughts for the LV proper , more around S  Mt  area  and Blue Mt areas (3-5 inches). Strictly elevation driven snow accumaltions . For example, driving through Shimerville on Rt 29 and toward Bear Creek resort ,  I see some good  accumalting snow. Same goes with driving through Wind Gap, Lehigh Tunnel and Rt 309. Big wet heavy snow flakes  half dollar size to pancake size-white rain). The streets will cave in the LV  for accumalation  if it snows hard enough  in the early morning and toward sunrise. Poconos 12+ in around Tobyhanna a good bet. Winter storm watches issued for the Pocono area by morning Advisories everywhere else after Euro run

The 6Z Nam clearly depicted this as an elevation snow event for tomorrow morning and for verifying my forecast.

Looks like the low is hanging near or just off the Jersey coast and some bands are backing in with it.  The doppler animation is kind of wild with the flows going in all different directions.

Temps have dropped a degree here to 43 with dp 42 and overcast skies.

Yeah, wild looking visible sat this morning with some showers starting to pop in the western burbs.

Went to top off the birdbath and it miraculously filled itself overnight.
