We'll see if the ridge moves and trough or cutoff transitions into the area. NWS discussion seems to be bullish on at least some precipitation. Then, if I am reading correctly, they are forecasting the remnants of Helene to come up the eastern seaboard and go out to sea just south of us, which is not what I thought the NHC was forecasting (unless the cutoff low is not from Helene)? Regardless, consensus here seems to be that the northeast ridge dries up most of the precip and directs Helene up towards the Great Lakes. I'm going to guess we do see a scattered light shower here and there tonight into tomorrow night.

Poor planning for such an important series. Sounds like they are burying their heads in the sand? That leaves one day before the playoffs to make up any postponed games (if needed - which is a high probability).

The issue is the Braves have home series Fri-S with KC who is also in contention. Rain looks to let up Sat in Atlanta. The braves could be doing Double header Sat with the Royals and makeup with the Mets mon 30th. Padres making out well in this scenario. Pick a field at LSU or UF and play the series. You dont put people and players in dangerous or stupid situations based on a mascot on the ball cap.
