WX-PA
Looks like a cool start in the 70's with the tropics starting to crank. No hint of 90+. Looks like that major heat might be over.

SACRUS
Cloudy with some showers light rain and risk for a storm. Near 80 / low 80s with any breaks of sun. Clear out for a final nice day (area-wide) of the long weekend. Labor day sunny and low 80s. Cooler Sep 2 - Sep 7 -mainly dry through Friday and a potential wetter/cloudier next weekend. Tropics to watch by the GOM although both the GFS and Euro were lacking the storm from prior runs. Warmer towards mid month.

bluewave
This is an unusually strong MJO 5-6 pattern for early September. It’s one of the few times of the year when we get a cooler to closer to normal temperatures from these phases. So a nice change from recent early September patterns which have been much warmer.

These hung up boundaries always linger and clouds stubborn to clear. At least eastern areas had a sunnier Saturday and Friday. Were forecasts calling for a dry (sunday)? We didn’t get the much needed rain but it ended up cloudy all weekend
