It looks like there is a CC drop on the storm.

EDIT: The next scan did not show it anymore

I'm just SE Groveton in Hayfield, we were named in the warning...been watching lots of low level clouds streaming north but don't see any rotation yet. We're only tornado warned for about 3 min more.

@H2O is in that tornado warning south of DC

Thankfully it stayed to my west. Gave a heads up to my mom who will be closer so I’m hoping it is all elevated rotation.

It is very windy tho.

Glad nothing came from it for you. Wind seems like it’s howling upstairs

I have my eye on that one.  That’ll be close to my house.

That firehose is set up right over you and just west of me.  More to the south too.

looks better on velocity than the earlier one.

Just saw they are discontinuing the streamgage near me...seems like a funding issue. Bummed out -

@Eskimo Joe - Is county funding not something that can help here? Probably a discussion for DM or banter. Seems a few other gauges in the area are "endangered" as well.

Yeah...a bit of rain with "waves" of strong wind. At one point, the rain abruptly stopped, the wind picked up a lot, and the lowest and darkest clouds were streaming directly north over our house. A couple times the very lowest clouds seemed to streaming westward but I don't *think* it was rotation.

Spinning again down near Springfield.

That's to our west, and it IS ominously dark over in that direction.
