And finally this one was interesting as you can see a clear notch wrapping in from the left and a bit of a point just left of the distant buildings. Can't say for sure if that was an attempt at a funnel but it made a solid attempt to organize over north Raleigh on the afternoon of 8/8.

Dudes in the Leesburg office were signaling they were fully torqued from yesterday's weather as well

Thinking back,   it's very rare to have systems legitimately crawl. Anytime something is north of the Carolinas tropical wise they Bengal end up moving faster then modeled.. why this happens, I don't know.. but it's deft not common for tropical systems to crawl like some models were shooting out at first.
