The eye is almost closed. Maybe 75% of the way there at the moment. It definitely seems like it’s stopped ingesting dry air and may be close to sealing the core off. Impressive velocities appearing on radar in the primitive eye wall.

Velocities over 100 mph showing up. With pressure fall’s continuing the wind will catch up. I still think 85 kts is attainable as the ceiling. Still battling residual dry air, two storms in a row we’ve been fortunate with on that regard

Looks like there are going to be a lot of relieved people in Tallahassee tomorrow (including me). The sharp cut off of precip on the storm's west site and some subtle trending east with models and track could make this a minor event with an inch or so of rain and some modest winds.

Unfortunately, another tough hit for Taylor and Dixie counties.

The Nature Coast cannot catch a break. Those folks are storm hardened since last year. These folks are prepared. They know what to expect.

It sucked in the giant pool of dry air that’s been floating around it all evening

Looks more like a center reform.  The bands have become elongated too.
