I’ll try and get the pics  but our relatives got caught with down  power lines, 70 mph  gusts, a foot if water in streets and standstill traffic with 2.5” in 30 minutes in Frederick around 6:30

anybody  got rain graphics from that?

Martinsburg just set a new record for the wettest month ever.  10.41” so far.  Period of record goes back to 1926.

Incredible considering the far western portion of the state is in exceptional drought. Not that far away.

Looks like this storm is finally over.  This was as fun as it gets, I'll tell you that.  Almost 45 minutes of it.  Over 1.5".  This makes August the wettest month I've seen here.  Over 8".  Oddly, it only featured significant rain on 3 days.

Got 1.3 inches and have 7.5 for the month, compared to just 1.1 for July

My parents just south of Dunkirk got over 5 inches and spots across the Bay from them got 8-9!  Meanwhile Annapolis got a quarter inch

I measured 2.2" of rain in the gauge tonight with it still raining lightly.

I'm up to 7.08" for the month of August. A wet month.

Unique seeing both of you desert rats with more rain than me for the month despite my wet total. Just like last September.

Your mom and dad live a couple miles from me!   After last night I can confidently say that whatever drought there was is definitely over now.
