Everytime we see one of these warm downs you get annoying clouds. Never just nice and sunny . Always some cold pool and then mid level junk to ruin the day. Today and tomorrow great example.

Stay safe

We’ll have to find a way to push this somehow and manage as best we can:

Today
Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight
Partly cloudy, with a low around 58. Light and variable wind.
Monday
A slight chance of showers between noon and 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Monday Night
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 56. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Tuesday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Northwest wind 3 to 7 mph.
Tuesday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 61.
Wednesday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
Wednesday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 61.
Thursday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
Thursday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 61.
Friday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.

I can’t remember where or when I heard it but years ago I swear I heard that we were one of the cloudiest areas of the country.

Definitely the greens. But usually with a trough moving in and summer it’s the mtns of NNE that get the CU building….thats just climo.

BTV AFD mentioning snow levels this morning had me wondering if I opened the right AFD .

A strip of lake-effect clouds has been able to
reach the North Country and it should remain there for the rest
of the night. Even though the airmass is cold enough to make
lake-effect, the lowest the snow levels will drop will be around
7,500 ft, so they will still be a couple thousand feet above
the highest peaks. The coldest air aloft will move through late
in the day today and into this evening. Combined with diurnal
heating, scattered to numerous showers will develop across the
region, particularly over northern areas. A few thundershowers
are possible and the heaviest showers could contain pea sized
hail.

Yea we may need to bust out the starter jackets in the 80/60 today..

It's always a treat how defensive the ADATT crew gets  when we climb broke back Mtn. Best days of summer. We will dew up again but the slide is real.

Enjoying the COC at Lower Falls on the Kancamagus earlier. 73/53. Was 66 at the pass as we drive through with windows down. Not a drop of sweat to be found in the nether-regions. Now grabbing pizza in Lincoln before the long drive home. The perfect summer day.
