People forget that country’s first big and maybe best revival was in the 70s with the likes of the Marshall Tucker Band, Charlie Daniels Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd etc.

tunafish
Another glorious summer day. Managed to hit 84, but a lot more wind today. You can tell the change in airmass by the visibility of MWN (straight above the float ladder).

Eagles were technically considered country too back then though they were more mainstream.
WinterSnow
Was up just north of Hartford most of the day. It was pretty nasty. Maybe not blazing hot, but ugh. Oh well, looks like that might be it for upper 80s and 90s for the season. Hopefully.

It cycles through my wife’s Spotify playlist. Listen to rebel country station on Pandora. The best not the fake country boys

Like the upcoming winter, lets hope there’s a “good one coming on.” Saw them at Higher Ground in BTV a couple of years ago. Put on a great show.

I’ve seen these guys 6 or 7 times but it’s been probably 10 years since the last time. I think the best live performance I’ve ever seen was the first half of a show they played at Memorial Auditorium in Burlington. Warren was on fire. I thought they got a little too jammy for my taste after intermission. I was also pie eyed drunk by then so my judgement was probably not the best.
