Where is Jspin this summer? It’s a long season just to be able to count snow flakes. Hopefully his wife isn’t banging  the COOP guy next door.

My BIL in Florida has 4 inches of water in his lanai and he's in south Florida

My SIL had about 6", a dozen miles north from Ocala.  Said the field and yard "looked like a war zone".

One more weak TS yesterday afternoon.  0.36" is better than nothing but the 0.80 to 0.94" just to the west would've been nice.

Funny how a dp around 70, which is normally considered oppressive around these parts, actually feels fairly comfortable relative to the last several days. I imagine this is what sfla is like after a weak ass cold front meanders through in the middle of January.

Cell by Alton shows 3.5" hail icon on grlevel3.  About as large as I can remember seeing.  Wonder what size is reaching the ground?

At 718 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Alton, or 14
miles southeast of Laconia, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

Algorithms might be getting tricked by some of the bad data due to scatter spikes. But I could see siggy hail in there.

Was tough to leave the pool today. Water temp was in the 90s. After this week that certainly won’t be the case. All this rain will have that water feeling frigid. Last 90s for awhile it looks like. Likely not for the season except for far north.
