Here in the Midwest we've had a cooler than normal Summer only for it to flip during the fall/Winter and average above average with La Nina. It's been since the 2013-2014 that this has been the case. One more day of 80's tomorrow before temps fall back closer to seasonal, and I can't wait. It's been humid, sticky and difficult to sleep at night, even with a fan. I noticed on the bike ride yesterday that the early corn is starting to mature in the bottom quarter of the stalks.
