BlizzardNole
Gut wrenching forecast being west of the good rain cutoff. I'm hoping the blue ridge rain shadow that kills me with W to E moving storms helps me out this time with the E to SE winds

Hit 91.2 around 1 pm, then the wind swung around to W/NW and gusted 20-25 mph. DP went from low 70's down into upper 50's, nice. Currently 64.5/59.1 at 7:45 with a light NW breeze at 3 mph after a 63.2 low. I was at OBX for a few days and when I got home late last night, it was downright fall like with the breeze and felt so refreshing. I did manage to hit 90.0 on the nose two days ago imby (missed it since I was out of town) - first one since I moved here in 2022. Driving through your neck of the woods, the streams are nonexistent and here too, for that matter. 1.08" in the last 5 weeks and looks like a dry one until at least late next week. Tough summer so far.

Good thing temp issues won't be the problem when it comes to rain. Also downsloping shouldn't kill us in the corridor because it's coming from the east.
