HRRR and GFS are really pumping the heat tomorrow (100+).

 :frostymelt:

EDIT: 18z GFS has +23°C air at 850, +30° at 925, and a west wind. Definitely possible to hit 100° at BWI, DCA, and IAD with that.

IAD picked up 0.68 i'm guessing my area picked up similar to maybe a little less....much needed and appreciated

I live just east of IAD and managed to pick up a little over 2 inches of rain, crazy how tight of a gradient there was. At least the streams aren't bone dry like they have been now.

Decent gradient indeed. 2 tenths of an inch IMBY.

Nice hit from Dulles down to Fairfax.  Not so much for the rest of us.

Seems like most years now the DC fireworks are ruined by stagnant air. Part of the reason I stopped going….not dealing w those crowds just to get smoky pics.

True.  I think Ian usually gets awesome pics

I got a pretty good soaking but no way I’m heading out to check on how much until morning. Sounds like a war in my hood. I have never understood the appeal of personal fireworks.

It's a good way to thumb your nose at authority.

Finally made it to baker for the 4th. Quite a turnout. I don’t think it rained at all here today. Maybe some scraps earlier. In other news, fireworks are still poppin off…like loud at times lol.
