Let’s go for 84/55 and Cu. Central/North VT doesn’t need another 2” of rain though. Oddly enough, I could do with the rain. I am in that dry slot that goes over to Dendite. https://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/CurrentMap/StateDroughtMonitor.aspx?Northeast

It’s rained or threatened to every day. 16+ inches since June 1. Today was the first day it hasn’t threatened to rain in a long time… not shocking the minute the PWATs and dews drop, the rain threat ends. Folks up here are definitely now trained to expect tropical rains with tropical weather. Late aftn and evening rain is ok. But the days of high heat and dews make memories. Not cloudy by 10 with the temp struggling for 70. 1 1

HoarfrostHubb
This summer (despite the humidity and bugs) has been much better than last summer’s rainy nastiness.

So much better than last year. For this month, my wife and I do tutoring at a local camp here in town. The campers (kids) were really not loving the humidity. They are all athletes and run 7 miles every morning. But by the time camp ended (yesterday for us) they had wilted.

The last time the temperature here at MVL went below 61F was July 3rd. With normals of 52-55F. We are +6.7 for JULY! Those departures in January are crazy but the low variance of summer months makes it borderline unbelievable. Would not call it crazy, as we've had Januarys of +6.6, +7.3 and +9.0 (2023), so 3 of 26 have had that kind of departures, and 3 others have been 5.0 to 5.4 AN. However, +6.7 in July, were it to finish there, would destroy all-time records. (Our warmest July here is a mere +3.0; MTD is +5.1.)
