Glad they missed Greenfield because I have some new stuff in the garden I didn’t want drowned. Glad they missed Andover because I was at a big outdoor party for my in-laws.
metagraphica
Heavy rain and some rumbles of thunder. Looks like the meat of it is passing to my south though. Good drink for the garden.
Snowedin
Glad to hear of everyone getting some beneficial rain. All friendly banter aside I just can’t get enough of the warm, gentle breezes that I’ve grown accustomed to this time of year and at this time of night. It is truly a special time of year as all the sights and sounds of the summer season never fail to put a big fat smile on my face. However, I could do without seeing certain women walking around in ill fitting clothes if you catch my drift. 1 3 1

radiator
It's not often that I wake up to loud thunder, but I just did - that line coming from eastern NY into CT looks like the real deal.
Damage In Tolland
Looks like stratiform rain mainly north of 84. what an awesome 5 miler this morning. Soaked to the bone south GA style. Love it
kdxken
When looking at the forecast for today, again, there is little to no model-run consistency in this weakly-forced and very humid synoptic setting. It renders forecast confidence, especially as it pertains to shower and thunderstorm timing and location, as extremely poor. Opted for a pretty broad brush when it came to PoPs today - it`s really one of those situations where t-storm threats need to be nowcasted and couldn`t really say no to showers and storms at virtually anytime
