Expand With the rains in the Androscoggin/Kennebec watersheds, there's probably a good charge of current there during an ebb tide, and lots of turbulence on any tide. 84/70 is too sticky for my taste, probably Mike's as well. It dumps nearly 6 billion gallons of water into merrymeeting bay every day. That would only take about 2 months to take the quabbin from empty to full.
