Absolutely. Once I saw the guidance start to tick north when it was forecasted to hit Mexico, it was wheels up to Houston.

Almost certainly will not be the last chase opportunity this season. This was my 14th tropical chase. You have to be willing to hang back post storm though. Currently a heat index of 96° with no power.

North of the pike is Pickles who changed his name to Cpick. We talk to him at least several times a week. He’s a gypsy and gypsies move around and like to appear elusive. He’s doing just  fine. And might I add .. has the best tan of his life. When you train Dilfs and lay in the sun for a living .. that can happen

Still fairly foggy here in the Quinebaug Valley in E CT; yesterday while warm was a nice day!

is it me or is the “feels like” just a tool to hype warm weather when it’s a fairly subjective thing? Some enjoy the heat and humidity and others do not, but the “feels like” is different for everyone. Want not just say it’s going to be 90-91 with high humidity?

Because feels like temps are used to warn people about what the apparent temp is like on your body. Same as wind chill. You dress and stay hydrated appropriately.
