Yeah, that's heading right for us, maybe a bit south into Woodbury.  Got 3.41 last night in two hours, and .14 so far today.

Yeah, it can stop raining now....just noticed one of my gutters is clogged. Too much lightning to go out and fix that atm...the line is starting to shift east, but it sure is taking its time in doing so

Wow really? In what amount of time? Did they throw any flood warnings up?

2 and a half hours we had over 5.25 then more last night after 9 or so .. looks like it was pretty localized and when I looked at radar estimates it shows around 4.. my rain gauge is out in the open so I know it's right..

I bet but I know what I had and don't really care lol

Look around and see for yourself. You can always compare. Haven’t been around much so not really paying attention.

How’s the damage from the tor?

Got home two days ago.  Lost two trees, a glass top on an old table near the barn, and 6 spindles on railing when deck furniture got violently tossed around and blasted into them.  Two outside metal chairs blew into the cornfield, but the farmer pulled them out for me.

Almost S FL like, low of 73F and high dews, air temp needs be 88-94 and we are there. We dealt with these conditions from late April to October every day…

BDL and HVN both had lows of 76 last night.

Spectacular display as Mount Etna erupts in Sicily | Euronews
I'm always just missing momma nature's wrath.  I flew down to Sicily for 4 days while in Italy and hiked Mt Etna on June 26th.  Early yesterday, she blew her top with an outstanding display.  Here's a pic taken of that event.

I’m missing summers of yore.  I yearn for watching lawns dry to a crisp.

Not that far of a drive up this way if you want to see some burnt lawns
