A Beryl SW Flow supported low of 78 over here this AM.  First time not in the 60's in 1-2 weeks.

My low this morning was 73, which is quite high for here. No matter how hot it is, our lows usually dip to the 60's most nights. Even under solid cloudcover this morning, we've risen to 78 now.

MDT has potentially set a record max min low for today at 79 or 80 BUT with the front passing tonight there is potential for a new low at 11:59PM so the record is on hold for now.   We have only risen to 80 from 78 so slow start to the rise.

That seems to usually happen.

Williamsport is in Northcentral PA of course but it doesn't seem like any of the tornadoes etc people were talking about last night are coming our way. Only thing we have going is Heat Advisory. Here is our forecast as of 7:54a.

Today
Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 5pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. South wind 5 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tonight
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 69. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

75.6 for the warm AM low in East Nantmeal. After today we should get a brief break from 90 degree temps till the weekend. Rain chances start to ramp up this afternoon and especially tonight. We are all hoping for some beneficial rains. By early next week the heat returns....it sounds like July!! Stay cool!
Chester County records for today: High 111 degrees at Phoenixville but 105 degrees at West Chester (1936) / Low 42 degrees at Devault (1954) / Rain 4.35" at West Chester (1931)

As expected, SPC has upgraded S and C NY state into Enhanced and moved the SLIGHT all the way down through central PA and the LSV into Maryland and down a bit into N VA. They don't have the enhanced along the northern tier which I am a bit surprised by, but with a 5 percent TOR hatch maybe it's semantics.

Currently it's sun through high cloudiness and 85.7. MU says tomorrow we see a 10-15 degree drop in dewpoints. Bring it.

Big-time reduction in expected rainfall continues - sigh:

We are taking some friends on the boat tomorrow and it should be a perfect day for it.

As for rain, yeah, not liking the chances down our way for much impactful.  Tonight seems to be our best shot and even that could be hit or miss.
