It’s so dry you can’t even tell I got a drop of rain, much less .2”.
My rain gauge back home reads 0.92". I am ecstatic. Before I left I watered the garden for four straight days at least a half inch a day of water. This rainy shores that they are in good shape until I get back home on Thursday.

It was probably my areas one trick pony all summer and I wasn't even there for it

The Capitol beltway gets 5-10 of these per summer  That is how you end up with 10 more inches of precip than areas down here.  Some areas near the Cumberland/Franklin line have almost 3" in the last 5 days.

That is a far different area terrain wise then where I live in Camp Hill

I think it's almost impossible for us to get an area-wide soaker in summer anymore unless it's via tropical system

Yep, that is the issue with the model qpf's.  More about areas that might get lucky vs. An area wide rain.

Shocked to see at weather.gov that only about half the state is under a heat advisory. No more orange over Lycoming County, at least for now.

We do have a Hazardous Outlook though.

Warren-McKean-Potter-Elk-Cameron-Northern Clinton-Clearfield-
Northern Centre-Southern Centre-Cambria-Blair-Huntingdon-Mifflin-
Somerset-Bedford-Fulton-Tioga-Northern Lycoming-Sullivan-
Southern Clinton-Southern Lycoming-
1029 PM EDT Sat Jun 22 2024

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Pennsylvania.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Severe thunderstorms with damaging winds 60 mph or greater and large hail exceeding 1 inch in diameter are possible Sunday
afternoon and evening. An isolated weak, short-lived tornado is also possible. Brief heavy rain from thunderstorms may also lead to minor flooding.

One last hot day before we cool down tomorrow. While we are still over 2" of rain above normal this year here in Chesco our lawns gardens and many farmers in the county could sure use a little rain, The good news is our best shot for some rain in a couple weeks looks to arrive later today and tonight. After today it look like only one day this week could touch the 90 degree mark again....Wednesday.
Chester County records for today: High 99 degrees at West Chester (1988) / Low 40 degrees also at West Chester (1984) / Record daily rainfall today is the 5.75" from the remnants of Hurricane Agnes back in 1972. Some other daily rainfall from that day across Chester County included 5.63" at Morgantown/Elverson / 5.75" at West Grove / 4.56" at West Chester and 4.98" at Glenmoore,
