Mount Joy Snowman
I have less than a tenth of an inch on the day as the heavier stuff is on the approach. Seems like the next hour or two is the show for us.

WmsptWx
It is clearing out nicely outside. I wouldn't be too surprised if the sun came out soon. It's definitely brightening up.
Itstrainingtime
Great call by @Mount Joy Snowman @MUweather 11 AM radar update: As expected, the focus now shifts to southeastern PA, but the narrow band of torrential rain and T-storms has weakened dramatically in the past hour or so. The #Flashflood and tornado threats appear significantly lower east of the Susquehanna and S/E of I-78.
mitchnick
Drove up to East Berlin and back west to Rt. 94, crossing the Conewago River a couple of times. It was way up as expected and I'll be surprised if it doesn't go over some of the bridges at the crest.

WmsptWx
I can't remember many crazy ass times like this where we received like 3-4 inches of rain and then the sun was out almost immediately after, but it just stopped raining an hour ago and during that hour the skies cleared consistently and now the sun is out to where shadows are being cast. Grass is about to run wild like Hulkamania, brother.
canderson
Storm is scotting faster than forecast - good news. Any reason why it's collapsed for our SE crew?

Storm was much farther north in latitude and pulled the best dynamics north with it. (MU's explanation)

I'm guessing the forward speed helped drive it north quicker than the east progression.

I hope the creek doesn't get to 6ft or it could start to flood the garden. But water is sitting down there now from all the rain we had today. canderson
Last of the rain has moved away. 4.8” total but I think some actually drained out of my gauge. That was something.
