I just looked at major reporting sites in PA. Sorry, I didn’t check DuBois. I am not gloating, but just pointing out that the MAJOR cities in PA that have OFFICIAL reporting sites all show a surplus. mahantango#1 Posted August 4 Author Share Posted August 4 Pulled the pump this morning at the creek after I seen it came up 2 feet since yesterday. So the ground has a good bit of moisture in it in my garden. After it rained .36 yesterday the water was sitting on top of the ground in some spots of the garden for at least 4 hours. He now has 22" for Met Summer. That is 11" per month!!!!! 4 events totally over 2" each along with this bad boy today. Listen...if MDT gets 61" of snow this winter while Marysville gets 6.1" it will be an epic winter. That's essentially what he's saying and if it's not he's doing a terrible job conveying it. This week is a great example of why what happens at MDT means very little. Years from now, most of us will look back at the historical numbers & say “what drought?” for 2024 at MDT.I'm minus 1.70" for year and minus 3.17" since June 1st. I'm at 24.15, 4.74" leas than KMDT. At this point I am praying for a 6"+ rainfall from this system regardless of what that means for anyone else.
