Not good in the summer and not running at all when cold so you just have a several week period unless you just go for it and replace thinking it dies soon. we will put new in, in the spring.

Bubbler86
Like many of the previous couple weeks, MDT jumped to upper 80's just after lunch and has just sat there going up and down over the next 3 hours though it is a couple degrees higher today than the last few times. Their temp could come in anywhere between 89-91 it seems.
Bubbler86
The record high for tomorrow is 100 and the record max min is 74. I think 74 has a much better shot of happening between the two possibles. Still several lesser meso's which do not break 90-91 at MDT tomorrow.
mahantango#1
89 for the high here. We have now lost 1hour and 50 min of daylight since the summer solstice. We're headed downhill fast. 2

Mount Joy Snowman
Low of 71. Really a nice morning though, as I took a walk around Mount Joy borough after dropping my wife’s car off for inspection. Just went by MDT on the train and can confirm the FedEx planes are flying strong. Jet contamination of the weather station likely, investigation underway. River looks calm and beautiful. Have a great day weather freaks!

ChescoWx
Today will be our last hot day for a while as many spots could touch the 90 degree mark which for some may be the last one of the season. The cold front will cross the region this evening but stall south of the area and creep back north as a warm front over the weekend. Best chance of rain and some could be heavy in any t-storms looks to be late tonight. Temps tomorrow will be sharply cooler with highs in the 70's...a few degrees warmer but not far from normal temps for the weekend before a turn to cooler again by Labor Day and the new work week. Chester County Records for today: High 100 degrees at Phoenixville (1948) / Record Low 38 degrees at Coatesville (1982) / Rain 8.00" at Phoenixville (2011)

Playing good right now but Walker on the mound today should be a scheduled loss. He is terrible. And the Braves coming up next for 4.
