Option 1 because, as that Longer Ranger forecast showed, we could be in for a 2–3-week dry spell if we miss out this weekend into Monday. Of course it's welcome from a drought standpoint, but it's going to totally F up our family reunion event on Saturday. One year, we had an all-day soaker with temps in the low 60's with everyone stuck sitting under the pavilion for entire event, with many wearing hoodies as it was quite damp and chilly.
