I just did a quick scan on the National Weather Service website & every major official reporting station has a surplus of rain for the year.

This includes Philly, Pittsburgh, Allentown & Scranton-Wilkes-Barre.

A few back yards are missing out, but it’s pretty unanimous that there really won’t be a memorable drought this year according to the official data.

How are HGR and CXY doing especially since Late June?  Did you put a filter in to only show those with surpluses?   How about THV?    THV is 4-5" behind in met summer.  They have a total of 3.16" so far, the entire summer.   Why do you feel the need to gloat because you have done well when a large part of the area has not?  Are the people who put out the drought maps incompetent?

I just looked at major reporting sites in PA.

Sorry, I didn’t check DuBois.

I am not gloating, but just pointing out that the MAJOR cities in PA that have OFFICIAL reporting sites all show a surplus.

Pulled the pump this morning at the creek after I seen it came up 2 feet since yesterday. So the ground has a good bit of moisture in it in my garden. After it rained .36 yesterday the water was sitting on top of the ground in some spots of the garden for at least 4 hours. I hope I'm done irrigating the garden this year.

My Boiling Springs (Let's go Bubblers, yes Cape I know what a Bubbler is you low lander you) spotter racked up 5.3" on his Mt Holly Springs rig today.   He now has 22" for Met Summer.   That is 11" per month!!!!!  4 events totally over 2" each along with this bad boy today.

The PA DEP has no current drought declarations for any county as of 8/3/24.

You forgot to post this link which shows drought emergency's, drought watches, etc.   Maybe you can get a finder's fee for pointing out the map you posted is wrong.    Man, MU must feel embarrassed with you pointing out how terrible his posts have been.

Listen...if MDT gets 61" of snow this winter while Marysville gets 6.1" it will be an epic winter.

That's essentially what he's saying and if it's not he's doing a terrible job conveying it.

This week is a great example of why what happens at MDT means very little. I'm sure you're comforted knowing they've had like 3" of rain.

Officially, MDT has a 3” surplus for the year & is less than 1” below normal for Met. summer.
Years from now, most of us will look back at the historical numbers & say “what drought?” for 2024 at MDT.

I'm minus 1.70" for year and minus 3.17" since June 1st. I'm at 24.15, 4.74" leas than KMDT. At this point I am praying for a 6"+ rainfall from this system regardless of what that means for anyone else.

Because you can't understand how droughts work?  Is this like when you said there was no way the Phillies could lose 2 in a row to the Diamond Backs?  Since June 1 is the important info in your post.  Did you not notice that?

Lol, here we go…

Should I mention the Cowboys playoff disasters from this century.

Let's not go there.

You are proving absolutely nothing to anyone who has a large deficit of rain this summer. Nothing. Go ahead, post 278  stations that have surpluses and it doesn't mean a damn thing to people who don't.

Why is our corn crop hurting so badly this summer? (Hint - lack of rainfall)

JFC.
