Currently mid-upper 60's around TH. Scattered instability showers in the area. Should break 70 soon. Nice day, except for the threat of a shower. My grandson's B-day party happening this evening. Turning 16, and he's taking his driver's test on Monday. :)

Got 1.54" in about 2 1/2 hours this morning, along with some nice rumbles.  However, 15 miles north only had .22".  Rain pretty much formed overhead and kept backbuilding on the prefrontal trough. Looks like anything else before the front rolls through later will be isolated/scattered..

The Cleveland mets again seem surprised by the lack of severe weather in Northeast Ohio. They keep looking at these future radars and the muggy weather and then we get a few showers rolling through but nothing like what they seem to imply ahead of time.

Cool morning 43 here.  Mid and upper 30's in the usual spots.  Going to be a beautiful day.

MQT:

Here is a look at our coldest temperatures from last night. We are expecting to be cool again tonight with some spots possibly seeing frost. More updates to the temperature forecast coming soon. #906wx #MIwx

Temps ran in the mid 40's closer to the Lake, but well inland areas saw temps running mid-upper 30's this morning here in NE MN. Chilly am on the last day of June to be sure.

Hibbing 36 t2nd with 1988 (1st 35 1965/2010) since 1938. I-Falls 40 5th. Brainerd 44 t5th. Duluth 44 t7th. St. Cloud 46 t3rd. MSP 53 t6th.

Brimson 2S - 33, Tower 2S - 35

Looks like a beautiful day on tap with temps cast to be in the mid 70's with low dews. Perfect summer day. :)

This month has been pretty seasonable for the most part, with some warmer/cooler days in the mix.

Topped out at 75 with 50 dew. Light lake breeze, as well. Very nice :)

Yesterday it was suppose to storm or have a strong storm during parts of Sat and instead I got a rain shower around 4. Just some light precip in the region as a svr t-storm watch was issued! :lmao: Best part was 100 km/h winds were indicated in my watch lol. I don't even think there was any storm in SON - the watch was quickly dropped around 5-6pm. Storm Attempt #5 fail!

Today was mainly awful with mid-fall temps (13C with chill) and lake effect mist showers first half. The worst June day maybe since 2015. By evening it cleared up. Very windy too like the past few months have been.

7.64" of precip for the month (4.23" avg) here in TH. DLH ended with 7.72" (4.39" avg), and 0.3 temp anom for June. June is the wettest month of the year, and it lived up to that this year.

The heat for the eastern lakes keeps getting pushed back. The hype for this summer being hottest in years in the local media means the population will lose more trust of these seasonal forecasts.

For the US side of the eastern lakes it looks like Buffalo, Cleveland, and Detroit all finished in the top 10% of warmest Junes on record (going back to the 1870s)
