Probably an error but t'storms can release heat at odd times, Sacrus had a historical note a few days ago about a decaying storm near Pierre SD that created a rise to 104 F in middle of night. I have never seen it happen in eastern regions however. Or, a brush fire could be raging near the sensor, creating very hot gusts.
