Said Almost did yesterday New England’s power system remains reliable despite widespread hot weather across the region. On Tuesday evening, ISO New England declared a Power Caution after unexpected generation outages left the region short of meeting its operating reserve requirements. Spanks45
30 minutes ago, Damage In Tolland said: Energy friend says grid is close to collapsing . Said Almost did yesterday only used 49 kwh yesterday, no a/c used, pool and car took up close to half of it and I still exported 13 kwh back to the grid.... whole house for the win on a day like yesterday. House warmed to 79 by 7 pm, turned the fan on once the outside temps hit 75...was planning on kicking a/c before bed just to lower the humidity but didnt need to, house had already cooled down to 72, this morning it was in the upper 60s with a low of 61. House is warmer today at this point than yesterday, but if the dews remain low this evening. It should be another good night to skip the a/c
