Amazing evening in progress.

Even saw the first firefly of the season.

Had them for over a week here. About a hundred lit up at a time.

Last year I must’ve screwed up because I had them and when I cut the grass early in the summer season they didn’t come back. This year so far they’ve been great. Really harkens back to the warm summer evenings of my childhood.

I’m in Albany this week and I can confirm it’s a blowtorch. Still 82° here in the city.

Wonder if BTV sees a minimum above 80F during this.

That airport just does not cool off at all in these heaters.  I’ll bet there’s some 80s after midnight at BTV.

Wow. Burlington VT with an overnight low of 80.6.

We knew it… this is the type of heat that gets it done.

Didnt even take till the end of the heater.  First night up.

Some locations could possibly not dip
below 77 this morning resulting in an incredibly warm start. A rapid heat-up is expected again with potential for slightlyhigher humidity. Dew points in the mid 70s are expected and could briefly push portions of Addison/Rutland/Chittenden
County to a 105 heat index

66F for my low.  Should get into the 90-92 range again

ORH was 90 on the button. Given they seem a degree or two warm would think you were a tad cooler? Sometimes PWS stations aren’t exactly places the best. That’s why I didn’t think you’d do it all 3 days.

Today and tomorrow your best shot at low 90s for sure.

Props to you on that. Doesn’t look like they slipped a 79 in there either. That place is unreal now in the summer.

Currently I’m at 65 in western Morris County, NJ. How is it possible that Burlington is stuck in the upper 70s for overnight lows; is it just a heat sink?

I’ve never been, just curious about the dynamics.

My cheapo thermometer hit 92 in the shade.  My car thermo read 91 on my road a couple of times over two hours apart. Several PWS nearby were 90-92.
But the data isn’t great for sure.

Yesterday afternoon was a furnace with 94-95 and low 70s dews but this morning wasn't bad at all. Mid 60s and dews around 60. Kinda surprised, maybe today won't be as bad

They always lower overnight and by mid morning will be right back into mid 70s
