Well that was a eventful uneventful event.......... About 5 min of impressive big time wind followed by .06 of rain... Thanks to a random huge cell that blew up just to my east in front of the line....

That line out west looks intense

I was on what looked like the tip of a mini bow and had a gust to 51 mph. Lots of low rumbling thunder and C2C lightning out here in southern Garrett County. Gentle rain for a thunderstorm tho with 0.24" so far. Very light rain currently.

Quote the lightning show to my west.  Currently sitting under a severe thunderstorm warning, but looking at the line I can see the natural Ballenger Creek split coming. Glad I watered my plants this evening.

Looks like the core is going over Gambrill, but another soaker nonetheless.

On an up note - it has gone from looking unlikely to see the Os play today based on yesterday’s forecast to first pitch coming off shortly after 1:00 today with no delay.

I’m at the yard today. So far so good

Skies brightening here after the late morning showers. Picked up 0.20". Up to 1.07" since yesterday afternoon. Need a few hours of sun to get the atmosphere cooking prior to the cold front.

Pleasant afternoon underway ,  partly cloudy - humid... A bit breezy the last 30 min or so - some high cirrus clouds with some fast moving low level cumulus racing off towards the NE... Paid day off so messing around outside doing alittle more yardwork..Screenshot_20240527_131623_Gallery.thumb.jpg.3d5913ddc83433714cfbcee9a51abd00.jpg

Was taking a nap, busy last week. And woke to this text and the sun. Looks like some stuff is already bubbling near Martinsburg.
