Gfs is a weekend washout

May salvage Sunday afternoon but temps look to be around 50

Yeah GFS is much different that CMC and EURO. CMC and EURO are dry for Saturday and don't bring the rain in until early Sunday morning.

The mid to long range is looking pretty wet and active so it looks like there should be plenty of chances for rain/storms moving forward with around normal temps for the first half of May.

hmmm everyone has been saying we're getting into a dry pattern lol-- at least it looks dry after the weekend rain with temps in the mid to upper 70s

I am not so sure about a dry summer, an overall very warm to hot and humid one yes.

The first week of May will be a continuation of the April pattern. Warming back up to the 80s by Thursday before we get backdoored again heading into the weekend. The 50/50 low still remains strong.

Yup, we need to get that out of here before any consistent warmup.

Yeah, the easterly flow days in the mix will feel even cooler especially near the shore with the cold pool that has developed to our east.

I think we had that cool pool last year too-but then it vanished in late June and the pattern got wet

These cold pools are probably the result of these spring blocking patterns.

But eventually they fade and things quickly warm.

57 off a low of 54 SSE flow and some low level clouds over CNJ-NYE area.  Flow coming around again and sunshine will push us back to the 70s today, low-mid 80s Thu.  Onshore, clouds and cooler by Fri and through the weekend with some rain on Sun (maybe the most widespread since 4/3.  Warmer 5/6 - 5/8 but storms and showers look to increase.  5/9 - 5/13 perhaps near/below normal. Overall near to above normal with rain chances increases the first week to 10 days of the month.

you felt it? I don't feel anything below 3, 2.6 wasn't enough to do anything to me.

I was walking up my steps after my kids were leaving to school and didn't feel it, but then saw a ton of posts on the local FB page saying they felt it.
