Yes, They generally work well but in this case no, I use them for a trellis in the garden, Tractor Supply has them.

Looks to be around a foot of heavy wet snow and still snowing and power is out in the entire area and eastward into ME

They were reporting blizzard conditions on my drive in and I can say it was not that bad. The roads were terrible and there were branches and wires down, but the vis was manageable. It's almost more of a fog than snow reducing vis to my eye.

sure looks like it .. prob light-mod snow continues next couple hours for us 

some of the runs of the HRRR have been weeniesh and keep it going for most of the afternoon .. prob not amounting to much though

I was just thinking I had close to 4 inches in that November storm too.  Weird winter.
