Impressive storms down your way! Noticed a lot of lightening

Yup. Very convective as the secondary low forms. I’m currently under a severe thunderstorm warning

Never underestimate the river of mid-level warmth in these systems.

But will it switch overnight, that's the question

Nam says "ehhhh, not really"

Everyone else says yes

We watch

As for obs: still sleeting, minor accums only from where the pingers bounced off the roofs of houses, and some areas that had some weird squally type behavior

Picking up now…wanna document the crap out of this one so we can compare..you have a spot around 1900’ on the mountain?

.

Negative ha.  It’s either 1500ft or 3000ft.  Though could easily go out to that elevation and measure what’s on the crust from today.

Something broke with the scripts today and it nuked our actual forecast when the probabilities ran, so check it now for the actual current forecast. Not much different but a little beefier at the coast.

We're getting rain and sleet here. You can see all the sleet pellets gathering on the deck. It's 36.8 and I'm up at about 500 ft. In Plainville. You can really hear the sleet hitting the skylights. I wasn't expecting this until maybe late late tonight or tomorrow morning
