But looking at the hi-res hr60 NAM, the 700mb layer is slightly colder than the 12km so areas so southern VT might get spared IP for SN

Its there first map and i'm sure there's more tweaking coming as we get closer, Not sure how that area does on easterly flow but i'm assuming they would do ok.

FWIW, 6z GEFS is almost in the same spot as it was at 12z yesterday... so, not great not terrible

06z GFS was a little colder. Actually produces a sleet bomb over interior MA. I’m still expecting mostly rain here but there’s maybe like a 1 in 5 shot it could be a bit more interesting. I’d want to see the 12z runs tick cooler again. 00z was pretty furnaced outside of the Canadian.

Dryslot at H7 moves pretty far north. Sell the clowns with accumulating snow near low center.

Primary is now cutting to Chicago instead of Huron. That farther west cut may actually help the trend colder. A cut farther east would flood 925 more readily. Not that it helps SNE, but it may up north

He may not be wrong, Ch 8 has 12-16", I'm getting the Genny ready plus taking down that wimpy car port that i pit up that survived the last one but won't this time with the high winds and heavy wet snow, Going to be some major damage.

Still fairly confident where I am getting atleast some plowable snow, GFS/ICON/GEFS going a tad colder is reassuring
