I feel like the models are negotiating how we're gonna get screwed .. with BDs on this day, no that day ... no, we mean this day game every couple of runs.  Instead of just not screwing us.

Get it?

like, one way or the other, you're getting screwed?

Technically there's a ridge over eastern N/A mid latitudes, but these heat crippling nuances keep getting sent down stream along 50 N.

It's like clockwork.

"

Tuesday a weak surface low pressure moves into SNE and this in conjunction with the high to the north will push a backdoor cold front through the region taking those 70s we enjoyed on Monday out
of the forecast for two days. Highs will be limited to the 60s (inland) and 50s (along the coast) each day. A mid level shortwave
moves out of the Great Lakes Tuesday night bringing a round of light rain to the region overnight into Wednesday. The best forcing from divergence at 300 mb and upslope orographics will place the bullseye for the largest rainfall totals over northern/central MA "

High for the year so far 73.2° but it looks like rain isn’t far away.

Got soaked on the mountain over the past 90 minutes.  A few rumbles of thunder too.  Weird vibe dodging thunderstorms with skis on.

Sun coming back out immediately afterward.

Only got up to 61F at MVL before the rain moved in.  Now 59/54.

Beat MOS by 3 and 5 deg respectively with our 73 here today.

Yet watching the sun set on this splendor tomorrow evening will be like farewell to a fondest love.

But the party is back in time for the weekend at least

I’ve never seen someone so obsessed with faux inland backdoors

And I've never seen anyone obsessively attempt to sell non-objective reality like you, either.
But..it's okay.  We know your the class goof-ball and it's all fun.

I could never have the courage, easily shown by DIT, to spar with the professionals and well versed hobbyists. Of course, as per Tips comment, “it’s all fun”. As always ….

Of course it’ll be cooler on Wednesday. But who cares? Why obsess over a backdoor that keeps temps in 50’s coast and 60’s inland for a day? It’s not July. It’s a warm week overall   . Just don’t get it

Just a few days ago you reminded us all that temps are really all we have to talk about when questioning the obsession with high temps…

Isn’t that what Tip’s doing?

Does it read like a negative or bad thing to be doored and we can’t have negativity?  Just sun and fun at all times now is the rule?

Yes and that’s ok. But he has always obsessed impulsively over backdoors. He’ll admit that . This one is NBD .. it’s not a cold screen door shutter . Just a mild East flow for 24-36 hours before more 70’s Thursday- Friday .
