Thank goodness they're doing the right thing today after yesterday's debacle. I still can't believe they made fans wait 2 hours last night and then postponed the game just as the rain was ending around 9pm.

It's not the first time.  Even with different ownership and front office people, they don't know the recent history of making poor judgements affecting the fans?

So don't tell me. The main energy was transferred to the coastal (secondary low), eliminating the precipitation that was supposed to accompany the original primary low (or series of additional lows), which many of the models did not pick up on 48 hours out?

3 top 10 lowest snowfall seasons during the 2020s so far. Their new average for the 2020s so far is only 26.1 which is similar to what NYC averaged during earlier decades. So about 50% of what they averaged during the 2010s. Boston had 100” in only 39 days back in 2015. That 39 day total is higher than their total snowfall since January 2021 to March 2024.

We knew for a long time that Tuesday and Wednesday were gonna be washouts. Very unlikely that would last for 3 days ... Thursday was always supposed to be just a few lingering showers, unless people believed the ridiculous CMC snow solutions.

This post reminds me of when I see the Yankees doing bad in the standings and am relieved to see the Redsox doing poorly too.

Wow. Thanks for the information. Just like NYC, that area might have experienced their peak snowfall in the 2010’s. CC might be playing a role in sne now

They dont care. You showed up and spent money while waiting in the cold rain. It happens all the time throughout the league
