Not on the Hrrr & NAM

RGEM thinks we have a shot. I'm thinking 30% chance.

You have a nice little blob heading up your way within the next hour...maybe intensifies some.

Sun briefly popped out completely here but not quite long enough to fire up the temps (it clouded up again), although it did go up a degree to 73.  Dewpoint is still oppressive at 71.

The actual cold front is still back where that broken line is, but we only have a couple hours left before sunset.

ETA - looks like Delaware was added to the Watch with the MD counties -

It's pretty cloudy here. I don't see a chance the sun makes an appearance. Gotta get lucky and hope a random popup blossoms right above my house...

Sun just popped out here again.  May end up being a self-destruct sunshine type of scenario.  Don't know if those cells will ever consolidate on their way here but if the sun manages to stay out long enough before setting, a few more might fill in the gaps in the current line.

I think we can put the cows back in the hanger for the night.

Maybe some brightening skies earlier today, but mainly stuck under cloud cover. Rain totals .75” so far.

This fickle finger of rain thats been stretching up your way will probably miss you to the east, but you'll likely get a few drops. Picked up another 0.08" from it, total for the day is 0.49". Not bad really if you wanted some rain.

what a joke today. The two  minute downpours on the half hour gave me an anemic .45 in of a piss poor pollen rinse.  Where the hell is all of the convective energy? Stratus cloud cover destroyed any potential today for the upteenth time this year. All I want  is a a good 30 minute ear busting thunderstorm but that seems like asking for a noreaster right now.  Here it almost June and I have  heard thunder less  than five times in the last two months. Well on to Wednesday- maybe another chance.  Its so dam hard to believe that these line of t storms cannot make it across the state  before dying out reaching eastern pa  in the past month. Alot of parade organizers  that cnaceled their parades are upset as most municiplaities got in their memorial  parades before it showered after lunch. 90% chance of severe weather  quickly dwindled to 30% after lunch. New forecast model should be no sunshine=no t storms.

Whatever was left from that broken line gave me 0.01" sometime around 11pm on top of the 0.88" that I had earlier, for 0.89" total for the day. My high ended up being 77.  This after an 89 high on Sunday (with low of 69).

Currently clearing with sun breaking through the clouds just after sunrise, and 66 with dp 64.

Nice weather day today with lower humidity and sun. Shower chances return by tomorrow PM. Sunny and dry from Thursday through the weekend. We start with temps near to below normal on Wednesday but gradually warm to above normal by next Sunday.
Chester County Records for today: High 94 degrees at Coatesville and Phoenixville (1941) / Low 32 degrees at Coatesville (1927) / Rain 2.94" also at Coatesville (1968)
