BlizzardNole
Gonna be another nice one before rainy Saturday. I like the 6-10 day with way above avg temps. Hope we stay above avg thru April then normal May and below avg June

katabatic
Wisp's last day of operation (boo) is Sunday. Going to be a bit ironic that it should be a cold/snowy day there but unfortunately sandwiched between endless days in the 60s.

PERFECT days for working one's way through a four-pack of DFH 120 Minute IPA. Or, arguably, a 4-pack for EACH weekend day...God help me. 2

You got to PERSONALLY EXPERIENCE ELEVEN FEET of fresh snow up in the Sierran Cordillera! You had a GENUINE Donner Experience! You watched that torrential snow fall and pile up! You got to enjoy very high winds blow that snow all over the place! You DAMN NEAR GOT BURIED ALIVE, IN DEEP SNOW! Then, you enjoyed a perfect jebwalk amid GIGANTIC WALLS OF SNOW! Thanks for the narrative! Thanks for PICS that will live forever! Your adventure was all ours, too! You have contributed to my admittedly crrazy love for 190 mph Sierran blizzards with many feet of snow! Thanks!

katabatic
1.02" in the bucket so far today & 41.0 delightful degrees. Looks like tomorrow will be a different story w/a 'reasonable worst case' 10 inches. At least I don't have to fly to Reno to get it lol. 2

North Balti Zen
Got in 5 miles of a 7.5 hike at Soldier’s Delight area in owing mills in just a mist. Last two and a half miles it opened up and poured. That said looks like the heaviest this AM went up to PA and is still heavy up there while just light here. And looks like the heaviest later is over toward 95 and eaat toward @CAPE. Probably a precip minimum for this event in and around the beltways compared to north and east anyway…

I would love for this to bust, not that this area was forecast to get the heavier rain. Most guidance had a half inch or so total.
