cyclone77
Several lightning strikes showing up with the heavy snow all along that band in Iowa. So far just a 5 min period of sleet here, but should get a 1-2hr burst of wet snow later this morning.

I got about 1" during that period with about 3" total!! Gonna be interesting to see what happens the rest of the day. Models don't seem to see the southern part of the precip. Stebo
Probably won't amount to much at the airport but there are parts of the metro that will do more than 4".
Sciascia
Heavy snow wording in the P&C in late March happens rare enough to be enjoyable, even though the idea of shoveling is less so.

Can confirm also for canton. Started work around 96 and Inkster and it’s been heavy all morning. Going home down 96/275 was a nightmare with near whiteout conditions. 94-696 getting hammered. Boss is sending everyone home in the area

Brian D
NWS DLH putting up their storyboard this morning for the potential next Monday. Basically a month's worth of snow in one shot for most of MN, and N WI. And for some, could be a top 5 ending to the month.
