I just thought the “we are a storm” was funny. Should be a wild ride for some. My house is tucked in behind a 600’ hill so hopefully wind is muted here as usual. I’m not real into damage and have my own personal PTSD from high winds.
CoastalWx
There is a period of really strong winds at 925-900 about 30-60 min after fropa. Could really blow at that time. And then in the morning until noon or so with daytime heating. Before that, SE MA has a good shot at HWW gusts tomorrow aftn and early evening. If we can get the rain to stop and a little break of sun (possible)...mixing to 50kts for sure.

weatherwiz
oof that is a pretty wild thermodynamic environment across northern Illinois and Indiana. Couple this with the increasing shear. They better hope they don't get any discrete cells.

AstronomyEnjoyer
NWS Thursday forecast for my locale - "Mostly sunny, with a high near 25. Windy, with a west wind 25 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph." What a pinecone flinging, shitty-ass day. If it's gonna be 25 and windy, give me a blizzard or something, come on. 2
