Did I mention the rest of the work week looks like ass?

"

2024

.SYNOPSIS...
Another chilly day is on tap for Tuesday with raw northeast winds
along with some spotty light showers, drizzle and fog beginning to
move in off the ocean. Considerably milder Wednesday with continued
risk for showers. A frontal wave will bring more widespread rain
Thursday into early Friday which may lead to renewed flooding
concerns.

I'm looking for rain this time, Didn't need the snow/sleet this past weekend.

But you were pretty excited about it though when it became clear you were gonna get a good storm….we’re all weenies at heart. Lol.

I don't think i was real excited for it, I was trying to save my carport i put up and succeeded, I'm trying to go fishing, I have some unfinished business to tend too.

The trails that got opened here were mobbed, yesterday and today. Of course I couldn’t go either day. Typical.

To many obstacles to navigate after the warmth the first part of the month, I'm done no matter if anything else falls, Not many clubs still grooming here.

Doing a bit of math and looking at the 15 day Kuchie totals on the GFS... I might owe @40/70 Benchmark an apology about Brattleboro not hitting close to average (need 24" between now and May 1st), Kuchie lands at 19", 10:1 at 22, and a few higher ensembles

Nobody should apologize to me for anything.  I missed the mark...again.

Pretty wild ice on top of Wachu today, 2 days later even. Not much at the base lodge but the top was porked, with damage. Heard another hiker say to his buddy "I've seen rime ice, but it's nothing like this, looks like a bunch of giant dildos" lol.

I'm an amateur...which implicitly makes learning my primary motive for doing this. You can't learn from errors unless you own and accept them....only cheating myself if I don't.

A lot of pros could stand to use that mindset too. Post analysis of events you fumbled are way more useful than anything else you pick up along the way.

We had a few that went out. I might have gone if I hadn’t had to work but couldn’t get out of the meetings I had today.

In a relative sense this is an interesting achievement.  I haven't seen 5 consecutive days of negative departures in a long time

...The only problem is the previous 20 consecutive days were above normal, a lot of which were large. The whole month is still +5.7

This is essentially the same at HFD.

We were double that a week ago…positives departures getting knocked back significantly as we thought.
