Tatamy
One of the unusual features of how this event moves in is it is accompanied by low hanging virga as it moistens up the BL. I have been seeing this feature on traffic cameras all night long going all the way back to central PA and I am seeing it here now.
TJW014
32/20 here. Still standing firm on 2" total. Maybe I luck out and banding sets up a little farther south. Otherwise in the screw zone.

jm1220
We’ll see what happens in PHL. Under a warning but downtown is still at 40 (it will cool quickly when snow starts) and short range models have most snow near Allentown and along I-78.

It sure does look right now relative to 12-18Z models today that the heaviest snows may end up north of that

I said temps would be marginal to start. And here is a newsflash for those reinventing the wheel: 38F at 10pm is a marginal for the start of a snow storm

There will be no problem with snow fall on a colder surface once the steadier snow arrives.

That’s fine. There seems to be a concerted effort here to make 38° sound like it’s a normal overnight temp in February and cold enough for snow. The snow is gonna have to start falling and the temperature is gonna have to cool down. And all that has to happen in an urban environment. And that will affect total accumulations. That’s all I’m saying.

Krs4Lfe
Tomer Burg says the northern band of snow is dying out as the southern band takes control and strengthens, which would lead to a dry slot north of Trenton. Concerning if it happens.
