87storms
They added the eclipse overlay to the satellite imagery: https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/conus_band.php?sat=G16&band=GEOCOLOR&length=24 Looks like our region is back to being a professional cloud magnet. We'll see how much in the way of debris clouds makes their way across the mountains.

NorthArlington101
Currently under the last little bit of clouds in my part of Ohio - but as others have pointed out, satellite looks pretty good downstream. Cautious optimism is slowing blooming into genuine optimism.

I just hope it stays You’re only about 50 minutes from me… if the cirrus starts pushing in too fast maybe I push your way. Last stubborn clouds are fading here. Paleocene
Very cool to see all the traffic headed to the zone of totality on google maps right now. Here's NE, but lots of examples across the midwest too..
WxUSAF
Lots of clouds in TX but low stuff seems to be burning off a bit? Getting occasional sun peaks.
baltosquid
Still can see the sun thru the clouds with the eclipse glasses in Rochester, I think pulling off a veiled but still visible totality is possible! HRRR is trending better it seems. Will probs miss out on the corona though.

Jebman
The State of the Eclipse is not good in Central Texas. We have a cirrostratus deck and a low thick deck. The sun cannot be seen from Buda. Storms are also on tap for this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow. Some will be severe. Nice day for some weather. I am sure many people who shelled out considerable money to come to sunny Texas to see a once in 600 year eclipse are absolutely thrilled today. NW Baltimore where are you at exactly? NorthArlington101
HOLD!!Time to window shop in Walmart for a bit before car rooftop camping. I’m sure the traffic will suck after totality but it’s nice to see the highway is running smoothly right now. Crossing my fingers that a lot of good options in Ohio means it’ll be OK.
Jebman
Looks like a few places in Texas may do pretty well. Best of luck to all. That low deck is gonna crush a lot of hopes and dreams. Hey guys! Welcome to Texas!
