Heading to South Mountain tomorrow morning to hike to Annopoils Rocks. Should be better up there. 

Great snow hike! Have fun! I drove up to my cabin for this. Plan on teleworking tomorrow. I’m 30ish miles as the crow flies west of where you’re hiking - up on a ridge top. Can see Annapolis Rocks area with my binoculars!

I was planning on doing that hike, but the jack looks like over the Catoctins. I'm thinking about hiking the watershed area. Salamander Rock looks like the highest spot. I just want to get as high as possible and hike in the snow lol

It's easier to use, save, animate, quick loading time, doesn't go down being a NOAA site.  I don't think there is a very big difference between the quality of all the different maps. If something is better, I would use it.
