North Balti Zen
Gonna be pretty - probably won’t accumulate much on roads around me in Monkton. Raised surfaces have a slushy quarter inch. Got to walk the dogs on the ncr trail in the falling snow - that was a win…
baltosquid
95 from Baltimore to PA just trapped in a dry slot. Really hope the delay doesn’t steal away too much accumulation opportunity. Any second we’re not snowing is another second we’re not cooling the column as much as we could…

high risk
The details weren't perfect, and it wasn't consistent run-to-run, but some of the NAM Nest runs yesterday did have some handle on the dry slot:

I think we could be doing an inch an hour with this band if it was sticking. The model doesn't know if it's sticking, it just knows its falling.

I wonder what kind of rates it advertised. Between the dry slot and the rates not being anywhere near what HRRR threw out there, that was all she wrote for this one. I thought this had some 2011 vibes but the rates were in completely different worlds and those rates also lasted far longer. I think I got about 20 minutes of moderate snow lol. EastCoast NPZ
Early AM, may have approached an inch on grass and elevated surfaces. By the time I got out of bed there was less and continues to steadily melt. Drip, drip, drip. About what I expected here in the heat island of Stephens City. Places out in the north and west part of the counties look to have 2 - 3 inches.
dukeblue219
No stickage on exposed surfaces here in SS/20910. Honestly the snow is more of a flurry at this point though.

Under the pines is bare ground.
