Mrs.J
24 minutes ago, Interstate said: The school delays are getting out of control. Why can’t they make delay calls in the morning anymore? We actually got a text from FCPS MD stating that they don’t have enough information yet to make any decision and will keep monitoring. Mind you we are the largest county and our northern boarder is the PA line. And the mountains cutting through diagonally Emmitsburg and Thurmont usually get hit harder and the entire county goes off of that. It is very possible we will get the 5 am text as start time is looking like 3 am. Bus drivers start runs just after 5 am. And believe me there will be people bitching about not having a night before call. The systems are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.

psuhoffman
1 minute ago, Maestrobjwa said: Ah shoot I was hoping n&w getting a few inches would be enough to pass...you're just a tough grader The SW pass is south enough to get DC and Baltimore some snow. It snows up here if a cow farts. We had 50” a few years ago when DC had single digits. A marginal snow up here doesn’t tell us much. Need to see what happens closer to 95. Doesn’t need to be 6” or anything. Just 2-3” getting into the city would be a very good sign.
