As of 7 am, down to 32F and 1.75" OTG and snowing close to heavily now, with 1"/hour rates the past 30 minutes. It's gorgeous out there with everything covered - first plow just went by our house. TWC was just discussing how the low pressure off DelMarVa is strengthening and noting that short term forecasts are for 1-2" per hour for the next 3-4 hours for much of CNJ/NYC/NENJ.

I just looked at my local forecast from the weather channel and it says updated at 620 am and is calling for 3-5 and I already am over 4 inches,,,so I am not sure what they are looking at as I will be over 5 very soon

My wsw is for 6.  I have 4 OTG, and NWS forecasting 4 to 8 more on point and click.

High snow report so far: 7.0" 2 SSW Middletown, NY. There are numerous 5"+ amounts in Orange County. There are no reports yet from Central Park and Newark where their record 744-day streaks without 2" or more daily snowfall will finally end today.

I hope they measure more often at CPK. It looked like it was over two inches on TWC.
