The fronto band is slipping SE now. The CAA on the northern edge is making gains.

Looks like it's trying to crawl up through orh/495 to some degree  now too. Probably intensifies there and slowly slips SE.

Been snowing here better than radar suggests. ~3/4" so far. Honestly more than I was expecting when I went to bed.

God damn it, I was forecasted to get 12-18 inches just 2 days ago and now I’m getting white rain. I’m rooting for a big Niña next winter. There is nothing I despise more than missing a big snowstorm to the south.

And me to the north, welcome to the club my friend.

No….. I had hopes it would trend back north but yes I was concerned. Then I woke up and saw the radar was north, had hope again. Looks like the Pope may have been right after all.

For all the rejoicing from the clowns in CT about a positive bust. That's only happening in Hartford CT area out providence RI to  ( their back yard--shocker), so far. The rest are busting low or on par with last night's paltry guidance.

I'm 40 miles south of Hartford and getting crushed, headed for atleast 10 inches. I'm a lurker here but I've been watching this cornball post for awhile now. Just STFU dude.

How the hell does Hartford have 11 inches lol that’s crazy. 5 inches here but coming down at least an inch an hour.

Mid-level frontogenesis & also convergence early on that's been aided by the low deepening and now maturing. That area has been ideal for a variety of factors, including being further away from the ocean. Most of the battle is snow growth I feel a lot of the time.
